  18. 3DS does very nice aa for lines that are near horizontal or vertical. 
  19. LW's many settings for aa make it convenient to adjust it for the amount 
  20. needed. Lower Adaptive Sampling thresholds aa more, but may not be needed 
  21. (watch the white pixels added in the aa pass, if there are alot, you 
  22. could crank it down. The Higher the level of AA (Low, med, high) will 
  23. also make more aa passes. IF you turn Adaptive Sampling off, you will 
  24. generally get better results. Finally turning on Soft Filter also helps.
